Elizabeth Line FULL JOURNEY: THE FIRST EVER TRAIN! Abbey Wood to Paddington

At 06:30 on the 24th May, the very first Elizabeth Line/Crossrail service departed Abbey Wood for Paddington, marking the beginning of a new era for London transport. The Elizabeth Line is a new railway line connecting Abbey Wood with Woolwich, Custom House, Canary Wharf, Whitechapel, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Tottenham Court Road and Paddington using Class 345 9-car trains. In this video is a full journey of the very first train that ran on the Elizabeth line. The TfL Rail brand is no more and has now been replaced by the Elizabeth line across the network to Reading, Heathrow and Shenfield but will not become fully integrated with the new line until autumn. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’m proud to have been part of opening of the Elizabeth line, and meeting so many great people along the way. I can’t wait for all of you to see it too, it’s truly astonishing and definitely worth the wait! Enjoy the video :)
