Dear music friends and fans, “Forest“, the title song of the album and the journey into a virtual forest as a path to oneself, is performed live here. The band, with a violin and a medieval hurdy-gurdy, is wrapped in a misty blue through which two spotlights, like hikers, groping their way. When they find the supposed clearing, the “hole in the brain“ about which the prophets of artificial intelligence, such as Marvin Minsky, like to blaspheme, music and light explode, the instruments manically play the same sequence of notes and Alexander’s voice describes the desperation the wanderer who realises that darkness and rain will haunt him again here too, because he can only see the world in his own way.
