The World Press Freedom Prize has been awarded to all Palestinian journalists. Despite immense challenges, including internal displacement and a lack of basic goods, journalists have been reporting tirelessly for six months. We are risking our lives to keep the world informed. Despite the unfolding challenges, Palestinian journalists insist on one message: No matter the cost of reporting, the world must know all the details on the ground. I’d like to send a great salute and message of thanks to all Palestinian journalists across the entire territory, not only those who are in Gaza, but also those who are in the West Bank who are doing everything possible to deliver the truth.
