Inter blew the chance to go top of the league after drawing 2-2 with Atalanta in what was a topsy-turvy encounter at San Siro. Lautaro Martinez’s delightful volley saw Simone Inzaghi’s men take an early lead before Atalanta turned the game on its head in the space of eight minutes and went into the half-time break leading 2-1. Inter found their way back into the game through Edin Dzeko’s strike with 20 minutes to play and would have won the game had Federico Dimarco managed to score from the spot.
