Study on microplastics reveal their shocking impact on the human brain
Levels of microplastics in our brains have risen by 50 per cent over the past decade.
A US study shows microplastics now make up 0.5 per cent of the average human brain.
The University of New Mexico researchers were shocked by their findings – saying they thought the brain would be protected from the plastics but they were wrong.
These plastics may cause health issues like dementia and infertility in men.
