Sewing with Sterling Silver: Making a Tooled Leather Knife Sheath
This subscriber-supplied decorative knife gave me the perfect chance to hone a skill that I’ve been wanting to try: Sewing leather with sterling silver wire! Silver wire is used a lot in jewelry making (though not so much in leather craft), so it’s pretty easy to source and not too expensive. I may have to try this technique on a fancy holster or bag at some point.
