Coached Drilling for Tournament Competition.

I this video, we go through much of the exercises we use to prepare for high level and high intensity competition. Every exercise here is scalable. The goal is to perform the exercise to a success rate of around 70% and for the coach to adjust the difficulty to ensure we are operating in that range. The exercises are such with details below: Hitter defense Level 1 - 0:00 Hitter Defense level 2 - 0:23 Hitter Defense Level 3 - 1:13 Tag hit level 1 - 1:42 Tag hit Level 2 - 2:03 Setting strike Level 1 - 2:37 Nachreissen level 1 - 3:10 Zufechten drill Level 1 - 3:48 Zufechten drill Level 2 - 4:27 Taker drills: Hitter defense Level 1 In plow or in long point, right or left. Hitter Defense level 2 Either a hitter, or one fehler provoker followed by a hitter defense Hitter Defense Level 3 Two fehlers followed by a hitter and any of the previously listed sequences Tag hit level 1 Do not shun, bring their blade forward drill: Coach enters in a withdrawn posture, tag to hands. Training partner defends by withdrawing body Tag hit Level 2 Coach enters in withdrawn posture, Tag to hands, coach can parry, student can fehler Setting strike Level 1 Student begins strong, threatens thrust, chases indes according to fuhlen. Nachreissen level 1 Coach denys initial strong position, student weakens to chase indes. Zufechten drill Level 1 Student enters in a strong way, coach works indes to take, student works indes to hit. Zufechten drill Level 2 Student enters in a strong way, coach works indes to hit, student takes and then sets his next strike
