Cinematic FPV Train Ride - JayByrd Films One Take Fly Through

Filmed on the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad over the Bass Point Creek High Bridge, we created this spot in collaboration with Travel Iowa for their “Soul of Iowa” campaign. At JayByrd, we enjoy pushing the envelope with FPV drone cinematography, but this was our first attempt at shooting our signature one-take fly through with a moving train. Not only were we able to pull off a seamless flight, but we were also able to showcase the incredibly beautiful landscape of the Des Moine River Valley. The end result is a cinematic piece that moves the viewer through space and time like only JayByrd can, effortlessly flying through tight gaps and creating a unique three dimensional point of view.
