Dakota fire pit part two

Dug another Dakota fire pit, this time I used a layer of stones in the pit to improve airflow under the fire and two air channels. Got the tip from a guy in britishblades forum. Thanks! It was a raging hot fire. Very useful if you want a bed of coals for cooking fast. Oh, I used a small hand trowel for digging. Is a lot faster than a dig stick. #
