Deadend Times - Episode:96 - San Jose End of Cruising Ban | 1955 Chevy

On this Episode of Deadend Times we head up to San Jose on a Wednesday afternoon for a very special event. On August 31st the last “No Cruising” sign in San Jose CA came down and the local “lowriders” came out to celebrate. It was a very special occasion for the Lowrider community in San Jose and the entire Bay Area. There is some very rich history with cruising in San Jose. And there is also some negative history between the SJPD and people who like to cruise. So it was really good to see the ban be lifted and make some peace between law enforcement and the people who like to cruise. It was a great event with a lot of killer cars on display that topped off the night with some great cruising. We also feature our homie Jesse’s beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. Jesse recently acquired his 55 after building a few cool muscle cars, he was ready to step into the Lowrider world. He’s slowly been personalizing it and fixing some issues, but he’s been cruising it the entire time. We look forward to seeing it out on the local streets more and more. Thanks for watching!
