Meet the Makers - Ikat weaving in Uzbekistan

‘I am proud of my craft. This work is very close to our hearts and we will continue to pass it on.’ Silk looms can be found in homes throughout Uzbekistan, the centrepiece of many families living rooms. People have been weaving here for centuries, Uzbekistan being a country at the very centre of the Silk Road.
