Ruth Campbell has appeared here before when I posted her 1990 cover of Stacy Lattisaw’s ’This Is It’, but here she’s teaming up with producer Nigel Lowis for a one-off garage house track on Vertigo. This is one of the 12“ mixes, remixed by Dis Gang, which I think is just Lowis again. Soul City Orchestra followed this up in 1993 when they released a dance version of John Williams’ theme for the ’Jurassic Park’ movie. No, really. Ruth wasn’t involved in that one.
