All new Russian navy frigate and corvette class vessels will now be armed with hypersonic Zircon missiles. The Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Admiral Nikolay Yevmenov made the announcement on Thursday but did not reveal the exact number of warships is expected to receive the weapon.
