A NEW YORK COMMUNITY CELEBRATED ALL THINGS CARIBBEAN ON LABOR DAY.
PEOPLE LINED UP ALONG EASTERN PARKWAY IN BROOKLYN FOR THE WEST INDIAN AMERICAN DAY PARADE MONDAY.
THE PARADE TOPPED OFF A WEEKEND-LONG FESTIVAL HONORING CARIBBEAN CULTURE... ART... HISTORY AND TRADITIONS.
PEOPLE WHO ATTENDED THE FESTIVITIES WERE ABLE TO ENJOY FESTIVE MUSIC... VIBRANT COSTUMES AND A VARIETY OF GOOD FOOD.
THIS WAS THE FIRST YEAR THE PARADE RETURNED IN FULL FORCE... AFTER THE PANDEMIC FORCED IT TO BE SCALED BACK WITH VIRTUAL EVENTS FOR TWO YEARS.
