Ambush of a German Leopard 2A4 from the 33rd Mechanized Brigade, with artillery support, on a column of Russian armored vehicle

️Ambush of a German Leopard 2A4 from the 33rd Mechanized Brigade, with artillery support, on a column of Russian armored vehicles near the village of Dalneye, to the South of Kurahovo. The enemy took advantage of the element of surprise opening fire suddenly. The Leopard fired at the front of the column during the first part of the battle, and you can see how the German 120-mm shells DM12A1 do not penetrate the frontal armor of the Russian T-72B3 tanks and they continue moving, firing back. The second part of the battle, apparently, took place at the moment of the Russian column’s withdrawal after the infantry had landed near the village, and here the Ukrainian crew, having changed position, fired into the rear, successfully hitting some vehicles. Later, 2 x Leopard-2A4 tanks were hit by Lancets (video 2)...likely including the one in the first video Source: Cyberspec News
