Sword & Shield Sparring - Mike vs Nick

Sparring with the larger round shields we use at the club, with a diameter of 86cm. This is all part of a two month block where we are working on a shield combat. With a whole range of shields, and a style grounded in Renaissance rotella, with anything else we can add in along the way based on period art and experience. This is a very different approach, as we normally follow treatise rather rigidly, but for the earlier shields, that is a luxury we do not have. So a highly experimental block.
