djembe lesson with Hamid

Hamid can be found on beach road, Palolem, south Goa, India. He is a drum master who crafts his drums from the finest wood usually Apple or Mango from his native village near Lucknow central India. The shells are crafted by his uncle using a traditional lathe ,then sent to Hamid in Goa where he hand carves each drum in various designs or will custom a design as desired.
