First China-made maglev monorail train complets test run. The train was made by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., a subsidiary of China’s largest train manufacturer. The maglev train is powered by permanent megnet synchronous motors, which enable it to save 10 pct of energy and drastically cut noise levels during operation.
