️ Captured AFU serviceman: ’There is a mess in Ukrainian army’ Ukrainian serviceman Sergei Shikun who was captured by Russian troops, spoke about the situation in the AFU. He noted that many Ukrainian officers were poorly trained. ’There is a mess in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Many officers are not true officers at all, just mobilised people that graduated from military departments of civilian universities. They can’t do anything, they don’t get simple things,’ said the prisoner. Sergei Shikun had only to options: to die or to save himself by surrendering. Therefore, he chose to live without a second thought. ’It is obvious that our brigade was infirm. There were elderly people, poorly prepared ones. (...) These people did not even expect to return.
