TRIP REPORT | ALITALIA: Delayed due to Severe Storm! | Rome to London Heathrow

ALITALIA Trip Report from Rome to London Heathrow on an Airbus A320 on a stormy summer morning. A nice flight with Alitalia from Rome to London. The flight was initially delayed, as a storm built up exactly over the airport. The delay wasn’t nice but the views on the airport windows were nice to record. Safety is always first, so the delay was completely normal. From the flight itself, I would like to highlight 2 things: first, the incredible views after the departure, flying inside some very dense and dark clouds; and second, the amazing approach to Heathrow. We had some stunning views of London downtown a very low altitude.
