Concerto In G Minor Op 177, II

This week Gordon Mansell our Music Director offers the second of three movements of the monumental Concerto in G Minor, op. 177 by Josef Rheinberger (1839 – 1901). Gordon produced this ORGANIX concert featuring organist Massimo Nosetti (1960 – 2013) at ’s Bloor Street and the ORGANIX Festival Orchestra with Philip Sarabura as conductor. This music is highly lyrical and shows the full musical sound of the grand pipe organ in total partnership with a large orchestra.
