In memory of Beverly “Guitar“ Watkins - birthday money pinned to her lapel, Fender Squier in hand, and blues in her soul. Miss Beverly’s actual birthday was 4/6 but she made it to the Foundry in Athens, Ga. to celebrate with Rick Fowler, Michael Doke, Deane Quinter, Greg Veale, & Tim White on 4/27/19. They performed 3 songs, then Beverly joined them and took it to church. It’s the last show I have of them together as she suffered a stroke a few months later and passed away Oct. 2019. 3 camera shoot: Dan Aguar stage left, Warren Chilton stage right handheld, David Nix center stage.
