Assemble Parts with Precision and Efficiency

FANUC’s Authorized System Integrator, RND Automation, has designed and built a Multi-Axis Rotary Assembly Machine that seamlessly combines the dexterity of FANUC SR-3iA and SR-6iA SCARA robots, along with the precision of a FANUC LR Mate. System Workflow: 1. Product Feeding: Multiple products are bowl-fed to designated nests. 2. Robotic Precision: The FANUC SCARA Robots (both SR-3iA and SR-6iA) pick and place the products onto the rotating dial table. 3. Screwdriving Stations: The indexed products move under automatic screwdriving stations, where the assembly process takes place. 4. Final Touches: Upon completion, the products are retrieved from the dial by the FANUC LR Mate. Simultaneously, the LR Mate inserts a rubber grommet into the assembly. 5. Sorting Bins: The fully assembled parts find their destiny in either a conforming or non-conforming bin. Station Details: • Station One: The vibratory bowl feeds the base into the cell, where it joins the rotary dial plate. • Station Two: A cover is placed onto the base. The cover itself is fed by a secondary vibratory bowl feeder, ensuring precise alignment.
