In this video, I discuss the disturbing rise of pro-Hezbollah and pro-Hamas sentiments in Australia following the 7th October terrorist attacks. Despite Hezbollah being a listed terrorist organisation in Australia, there have been protests in Melbourne and Sydney glorifying their leader, Hassan Nasrallah, and openly chanting anti-Semitic slogans.
I explain why Australia’s response to these radical Islamists has been weak compared to other Western countries and highlight the political implications of this appeasement. The Australian Greens party has even endorsed these protests, further complicating the situation. With insights into how Australia’s Muslim population compares to the UK and the US, I explore why the country is not yet facing the same levels of extremism as Britain—but warn about what could happen as the numbers grow.
Watch the video to understand the deeper issues at play and what action the Australian government is now taking, thanks to political pressure from leaders like Peter Dutton. If you’re concerned about the rise of Islamist extremism in the West and its impact on free societies, this video is a must-watch.
