In this part of the lecture, Raoji relates to the Vedic Myth “The Churning Of the Ocean of Milk“ and how Rahu and Ketu came about. --One of the first treasures came out from it was, Lashmi, the Goddess of Wealth, which symbolizes there are so much wealth in the sea. --Another was, Poison that can kill all the people in the world, but Lord Shiva swallows to save everybody. --After that, came out Armrita, the Nectar of Immortality, which meant only for the Devas. But Svabhanu, one of the Asuras, managed to partake the Nectar by deceptions. --Upon discovered by the Sun and the Moon, of his deceptions, they tell Lord Vishnu and He immediately flung his Cosmic Disc to sever him. However since the Demon had already eaten the Nectar, he didn’t die but got divided into two bodies of head and body--thus it became Rahu and Ketu. --Rahu and Ketu are not actual planets, but are the eclipse points of the Sun and the Moon, seeking revenge by swallowing them regularly. Wherever Rahu and Ketu is in the horoscope, it becomes the area of deep confusion, illusions and failures. But Jupiter’s aspect on the Rahu or Ketu is very protective. He also explains the difference between astrologers and Yogis. “Yogis do not give predictions but help their disciples. Those who are depends on too much astrological predictions, they are either mentally sick people or timid human beings. Those who do not sick astrologers’ advice, they misplan somethings or the other in their life. Astrology is human necessity, yet it makes you fatalistic or stupid. Astrology sparks Divine which illumines your path, but with ever-present dangers of blurring your vision of life & planets that most blurs your vision of life is Rahu.“
