Russian fighter jet crashes into sea near Yeysk

A Russian Su-25 fighter jet purportedly plunged into the Sea of Azov off the coast of Russia’s Kransodar, according to videos shared on social media. Footage appeared to show the pilot of the Russian attack aircraft ejected when it was hurtling towards the water close to the southern port town of Yeysk. It smashed into the water close to a beach on the Russian coast, where people could be seen swimming nearby. The jet was taking part in a non-combat training exercise when it crashed, the state-run Ria Novosti news agency reported. #russia #ukraine #fighterjet Subscribe to The Telegraph with our special offer: just £1 for 3 months.
