Your Name (Kimi no Na wa.) is probably one of the most beautiful animation films I’ve ever watched. Every landscape scene in the film makes me want to take the time to look at and appreciate all the beautiful little details in it. I chose to paint the Miyamizu Shrine scene because of the sun’s glare and the peaceful ambience portrayed in the frame. The comet scene was heartbreaking to watch but I really can’t get over how mesmerizing the scene looked so I decided to paint it too.
