The Cat & the Bird: Painted Texture, Collage and Drawing Project

This project is inspired by the children’s storybook “The Cat and the Bird“, which is, in turn, inspired by the painting by Paul Klee. Techniques featured include: 1. how to make interesting painted textures for collage papers 2. how to draw a Klee-style cat face 3. how to create a geometric cityscape drawing 4. and how to combine all of these elements into a final resolved artwork.
