Titles read: “SUBMARINE CREWS IN TRAINING“. Somewhere in Great Britain. Various shots of young sailors who want to join the Submarine Corps being given a medical examination by naval doctors. Funny M/S of a group of sailors holding up their white long johns and sweaters for the camera and laughing. In a classroom, the men are taught about submarines and shown how to put on and operate the Davis escape apparatus. Then the sailors go aboard a submarine for their first trip to sea. The N23 submarine slowly submerges. Below decks, we see sailors being instructed on what to do and how to use the different equipment, including the periscope. The submarine surfaces.
