Hezbollah Targets IDF Military Sites WIth “Swarm Of Drones“, Only “One Intercepted“ By Israel

Hezbollah claimed it attacked an Israeli military base 17.5 km into Israel on August 10 via a swarm of one-way attack drones, Al Mayadeen reported. The drones directly impacted the positions of Israeli soldiers in the Mahava Alon base, causing confirmed casualties to the intended targets, as per Hezbollah. This was the first attack on the Israeli military base since Hezbollah and Israel started engaging in near-daily firing on October 8, 2023, Al Mayadeen reported. Hezbollah stated the attack was in response to the strike on Lebanon’s Saida which killed Samer al-Hajj, a Hamas al-Qassam Brigades commander.
