A cinematic short of a forest scene built in Unreal Engine. I created the scene at the launch of UE 5.1 to try out the nanite foliage system and also try to incorporate post color grading into my rendering workflow.
The scene consist mainly of assets from Megascans. During the world building process, I learned a lot about the quirk of nanite and lumens. The anamorphic lens look was achieved using the fantastic plugin from Dylan Browne. Everything was rendered out from Unreal movie render queue then color graded in Davinci Resolve.
