Liverpool 2-1 Nottingham Forest (1987-88) FA Cup semi-final

The goals as Liverpool beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 in the FA Cup semi-final in April 1988 at Hillsborough - this match was played a year before the horrific Hillsborough Disaster when the sides met at the same stage of the competition a year later. Liverpool, who were about to seal the First Division title, looked set for a second double in three years but were famously beaten by Wimbledon in the final.
