An unbelievable amount of passion and effort went into recording the first-ever DJ set at the 8th Wonder of the World - Milford Sound. With some world-class music artists and content producers, we formulated and pulled off a high risk project in one of the wettest places on Earth. Milford Sound is a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island. It’s known for towering 1600m peaks, plus rainforests and 100m tall waterfalls like Stirling and Bowen falls, which plummet down its sheer sides. The fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins and dolphins. With Milford being so remote, a 6 hour drive away, artists only available for the day and a super yacht on hold for us, we had only one opportunity to pull this off. On the day of filming this project it was hammering down with rain with minimal visibility the entire day.... then a miracle happened, the clouds parted and the skies opened up seconds before filming began, and as the last song of the set was faded out... the rain began again.
