What is the Army Ethic?

The Army Ethic explains the nature of honorable service for the Army. It expresses the standard and expectation for all of us to make right decisions and to take right actions in the conduct of the mission, performance of duty, and in all aspects of our lives. The Army Ethic explains why we conduct ourselves morally and ethically. It provides motivation and inspiration for each of us to perform our duty in a manner worthy of the trust of the American people and each other.
