I’m old enough to remember a time before the internet, smartphones and social media apps 👴🏻. Studying was difficult then because we had to go to a library every time we needed information on a particular subject... sometimes travelling to another town or city to find a particular book! So, modern technology is extremely positive in many aspects of learning and education in that we have all the information we need, and more, at our fingertips... literally! However, we now face a crisis. Social media apps and platforms are stealing our attention and making it extremely difficult to study for English exams... or anything! We now need to proactively take back control in order to be able to focus our attention on what is important. How do you ensure that you can focus on your exam preparation when necessary?
