Hello everyone! Today I want to show you an interesting project. I found this piece of slate on a hike recently. The shape reminded me of a knife, and I decided to try to make a real knife out of it, like our distant ancestors. On a piece of slate, I drew the shape of a knife and began to sanding on the sanding machine and coarse sandpaper. Then sanded by hand on fine sandpaper.
I chose a piece of deer horn for the handle. I used epoxy resin and two wood spacers. After the glue dried, I treated the handle with sandpaper from 100 to 600 grit. I made a scabbard out of genuine leather. And as always, I did a test for you, this time it turned out funny!
