Creating sinister dance floor dimensions and gothic live shows filled with distorted vocals exploring vintage sexploitation, trauma, and empowerment, Black Dahlia fuses disparate sounds and values with crisp sensibility. “Semantic Satiation” is Black Dahlia’s first self-released single, which can be described as a deadly EBM and industrial track accompanied by a music video collaboration with video director and photographer, Throne. Paying homage to the tortured soul of Brandon Lee in The Crow, the song and music video explores repetition of trauma, change of character, and relishing in that ultimate rebirth, no matter how deadly it may be.
