B.C. and Quebec premiers address media as premiers’ meeting continues in Victoria – July 12, 2022

British Columbia Premier John Horgan holds a news conference in Victoria as Canada’s provincial and territorial premiers convene for the final day of their 2022 summer meeting. Horgan is hosting the two-day meeting in his capacity as current chair of the Council of the Federation. He is joined by Quebec premier and former council chair François Legault. Premiers continue to call on the federal government to increase health-transfer payments to the provinces.
