Portable Ski Wax Stand

Waxing cross-country skis is easy with this wooden wax bench. The secret element is an oar-lock from an old row boat! This fixture fits all our Nordic bindings; Salomon Profil, NNN and Salomon BackCountry. While it could be used on almost any worksurface, I mounted the stand onto a folding saw-horse to make it self contained, ready to firmly hold my skis while hot waxing, scraping and corking.
