Full title reads: “Alnwick - First Meet of the New Year - of the famous Percy Hounds - attracts big field, as always.“ Alnwick, Northumberland. Dark shot of hunter on horseback riding through tunnel followed by fox hounds. Gathering of hunt before it sets out. Several riders on horseback, lots of hounds and plenty of on lookers too. Closer shot of one of the riders drinking the traditional toast (stirrup cup) before the hunt begins. The hunt moves off along a main street in Alnwick. The hunt in the countryside. The horsemen ride along with the hounds along a country path. Longer shot with more horsemen riding across a field. Sound track missing. In Newcastle version only.
