Rolling Stones ~ Brown Sugar... Flatbed Truck Tour Announcement, 5th Ave, NYC

Leave it to the Rolling Stones to make a scene out of a tour announcement. On May 1, 1975, the band held a “press conference” at the 5th Avenue Hotel in New York. Reporters gathered in the hotel, ready to hear a big announcement from the Stones. However, the action didn’t happen inside the hotel. The band never even went inside. They were outside, playing on a flatbed truck rolling down the street.
