THE JIMI HENDRIX STORY AS YOU’VE NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE: APRIL 1968 - EP 21 PT 1
The US tour, or at least the first half of it, wound down at the beginning of April.
The most notable performance was at the Symphony Hall in Newark, New Jersey, the night after the assassination of Dr Martin Luther King.
April 1968 also saw the group shifting gear with a pivot towards recording what would become the Electric Ladyland album.
