Honda Issue Uncovered! Cant access in-bed Trunk / Spare tire - Watch my repair method

* Please watch the second follow up video as I have uncovered additional info on why it failed. I experienced my trunk bed fail to open on my 2018 Honda ridgleline with 48,000 miles. In this video I show you the issue at hand, How I went about resolving it and how you can prevent this from happening to you in the future. Regardless of what year 2nd gen ridgeline you have I highly recommend you do this fix ASAP! If this fails and you need to access your spare tire or if you have an emergency kit stored in the trunk and cannot access your bed trunk this would be a major issue. I have already confirmed with other Honda Ridgeline owners that this electrical tape installation is what Honda is using.
