Japan Earthquake Liquefaction Video Awesome

Japan earthquake causes liquefaction - water from water table being forced out of the ground! This is not from a broken pipe folks! This is a phenomenon called liquefaction, and happens when the water table is mixed with the shaking material, and in this case forced up through cracks in the ground. This is the first quake where we have enough video to understand more about how liquefaction works. Check out my other videos for videos that will blow your mind. I am a seismic analyst, so I look at earthquakes every day. If you have any questions about this, just send me a message. I’ll try to get back to everyone.
