The U.S. Government Cover-Up of a Volcanic Eruption; A Correct Call
Volcanic eruptions are big news, especially when they occur in the United States. So, why then did the U.S. government cover-up the fact that a potentially damaging eruption was occurring? This video will discuss why through my opinion as a volcanologist, I believe that the censorship was actually the correct call on this singular instance. Specifically, involving Mauna Loa’s eruption in 1942.
