John F. Kennedy Jr., remembered forever as 3-year-old John-John saluting his slain father’s casket, spoke at the 1988 Democratic National Convention. Drawing misty eyes from Delegates, some of whom supported his father when he received the nomination in 1960, the 27-year-old spoke of two generations of Democrats united in the pursuit of justice.
