Review: Power Morphicon 2012 Exclusive Set (Power Rangers Super Samurai)

Blog Post: --- This is PMC’s first exclusive toy, and in a similar fashion to the SDCC Set, features metallic repaints of toys you probably already own. This set features two figures: Shark Attack Red Ranger, and the Purple Mooger, both originally featured in the Clash of the Red Rangers “film“. The Shark Attack Red Ranger is a repaint of the Super Red Ranger done in a nice metallic red color. Unfortunately the figure doesn’t include a Shark Saber, and instead comes with a Super Spin Sword, a sign that Bandai just wanted to repaint it and not make new molds. That’s the only really nitpick I have with the figure, as I find the paint really nice. The Mooger figure is the same figure released in the original wave of Samurai figures, but done in metallic red, brown, and purple, based off the purple Moogers seen in the movie and “The Rescue“ episode.
