Item title reads: “SS ““. Destined for British Guiana-launched by Mrs. Esperson.“ Saltney, Cheshire M/S of SS RH Carr, a largish vessel with the name on side. Mrs Esperson, facing away from camera, swings the champagne bottle to break it against the side to mark the launch. The vessel slides down the slipway.
