How to Draw a Flamingo | Cool Tribal Tattoo Design Style

I first lightly sketch out the basic shapes of the flamingo with a HB pencil and then begin to map out the tribal design pattern before outlining the whole image with a fine line pen. Once the outline is down I erase all unwanted pencil marks and then fill in the flamingo drawing with a Sharpie. However, I don’t go all the way to the outline, I leave myself just enough room to fill those areas in with a fine line pen. I later scanned the drawing on to my computer and created high quality SVG cut files (dxf, png, jpeg, pdf, eps and svg files) so the design can be used on cricut machines, glowforge and cameo silhouettes etc. Link to Flamingo svg files is at top of description. Not only would this design look great on T-shirts, mugs, vinyl stickers decals for cars and other types of merchandise it would also make one great tattoo design.
