Demos In The Dark: Electrofoods, Ultd - Oprichniki // Demo

The Oprichniki from Electrofoods, Ultd is a beast of a fuzz, but one that allows itself to be tamed when need be. This wooly beast can clean up for a cocktail party and impress your significant other’s snooty coworkers. The Oprichniki was born a Russian Big Muff, but didn’t stay that way for long. Matt & Carl pushed the gain as far as it can go. An ultra-wide tone sweep and mid control let you dial in your EQ and get you far outside of Muff country. The clipping sections have been dramatically overhauled for a meaner, fuzzier fuzz pedal. The clean blend lets you retain punch and clarity while still pouring on the sustain. This can obviously be used for heavy doom riffs, but you know me... I wanted to see if I could pull some funk out of it.
